Fifty Years Unchanged: Hong Kong Stocks
Before parting, it's worth discussing Hong Kong stocks, after all, Hong Kong was my home.
After '97, authoritarianism took over, and Hong Kong was destined to regress. However, even in a system as institutionalized as the United States, ideology will slightly swing between system and authoritarianism; just as tyranny like the Communist Party, even without elections or party rotation, the line will adjust between system and authoritarianism. After the death of the first authoritarian, there were some good days; if the current one loses power, perhaps it won't be too bleak.
