The 78-year-old Trump once said that wanting to serve as president for a third or fourth term was not a joke, but recently he has changed his tune, denying that he is considering running for the White House again. Politicians are merely opportunists; whether to run or not still depends on whether there is a chance of winning support at that time.

Trump's current statement has no reference value, just as someone on the other side of the earth said "not running for N terms" but could not resist the temptation of power. Fortunately, the qualifications for running for president in the United States are largely determined by the Constitution. Even if Trump ultimately clings to power and wants to change his tune again, it must be within the constraints of the Constitution.
